
At 38, life as a parent, professional, and woman with a “quirky brain” became almost unbearable. Brain fog made daily tasks slip through my fingers. Like so many of the women* I now support, I spent years blaming myself for missing details or struggling to keep up—never realizing I was managing the double impact of undiagnosed ADHD and perimenopause. The world’s solution was always “just try harder,” but my heart knew that no one truly understood my experience.
Everything changed after my late ADHD diagnosis, just as perimenopause was amplifying every symptom. Suddenly, it all made sense: I wasn’t broken—my brain and body simply worked differently. With the right community and resources, I stopped masking and started embracing who I am.
