Finding Myself in the Storm: My Journey Through ADHD, Perimenopause & Neurodivergence

From self-doubt to understanding - how embracing my unique wiring inspired Blissfully ND

At 38, life as a parent, professional, and woman with a “quirky brain” became almost unbearable. Brain fog made daily tasks slip through my fingers. Emotional overwhelm, fatigue, and forgotten words chipped away at my confidence. If you’ve ever asked yourself, “What’s wrong with me?”—you’re not alone.

Like so many of the women* I now support, I spent years blaming myself for missing details or struggling to keep up—never realizing I was managing the double impact of undiagnosed ADHD and perimenopause. The world’s solution was always “just try harder,” but my heart knew that no one truly understood my experience.

Everything changed after my late ADHD diagnosis, just as perimenopause was amplifying every symptom. Suddenly, it all made sense: I wasn’t broken—my brain and body simply worked differently. With the right community and resources, I stopped masking and started embracing who I am.

Burnout, instead of an ending, became my turning point. Today, I help neurodivergent women* turn confusion into clarity and isolation into community. If you’re tired of “just coping” and ready for real solutions, you’re in the right place.

As the founder of Blissfully ND, my practice is dedicated to providing the affirming, compassionate support I wish I’d had. You deserve to feel seen, heard, and understood while navigating the perfect storm of executive function challenges and hormonal change. Here, you belong—let’s walk this journey together so you can discover hope, self-understanding, and practical ways to thrive, at any stage.

Our Unique Approach

Why Most Support Misses the Mark

For neurodivergent women*, executive challenges, burnout, and emotional overwhelm often intensify during perimenopause and menopause. Most programs don't recognize how much these transitions amplify everyday struggles.

Blissfully ND was created so you never have to explain “how hard ordinary things are” to someone who won’t get it. Here, you will always be met with empathy, expertise, and real understanding.

What Makes Blissfully ND Wellness Collective Different

Support here isn’t one-size-fits-all. You receive holistic care designed for integrated well-being.

Our Four Key Principles:

Focused on sustainable systems: We help you build routines and support that truly last.
