We are committed to keeping your email address confidential. We do not sell, rent, or lease our subscription lists to third parties and will not disclose your email address to any third parties except as required by law.

All emails sent by us will comply with the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (“CASL”), including clearly stating who the email is from and providing information on how to contact the sender. All email messages will contain a concise way to remove yourself from our mailing list if you no longer wish to receive communications from us.

Information shared in group settings or community forums may not be kept confidential by other members. Use your discretion in those settings.

11. Data Security

We take reasonable safeguards to protect your personal information, including encryption, restricted access, secure cloud or physical storage, and staff training. Personal information is only retained as long as necessary to fulfill the stated purposes and legal requirements. At the end of the retention period of up to 7 years, information is securely destroyed or anonymized.

12. Policy for Children

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 19 (the age of majority in British Columbia), however, we acknowledge that clients that have reached an age of majority in their province, for example, 18, may voluntarily use our site and services.  

If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under age 19 (in BC) or 18 (outside of BC), please contact us.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.
